No. The indoor garden is a freestanding structure and does not need to be fixed to a wall. There is no need to drill holes or insert wall plugs.

Both products are based on a similar design principle. However, the fold-out raised bed was designed for balconies and patios. The indoor garden, on the other hand, is a piece of plant furniture for indoor use and features sanded, hard-wax-oiled wooden surfaces with a more refined and homely appearance.

The indoor garden is primarily intended for sheltered indoor spaces. The woods and finishes used are not designed to withstand prolonged exposure to the elements, such as rain, frost and intense sunlight. For balconies and patios, the foldable raised bed made from weather-resistant materials is the better choice.

The hard-wax-oiled surface is water-repellent and suitable for normal indoor use. However, any excess or spilled water should be wiped up promptly. Prolonged exposure to moisture and standing water should be avoided.

Yes. The indoor garden is designed to be used with standard furniture glides and can be placed on parquet or wooden floorboards. Furniture castors can be fitted as an option. The base frame is therefore wider to provide sufficient space for fitting them. When watering, care should be taken to ensure that no water gets onto the floor or remains under the structure for any length of time.

That depends on the plants you choose. For most houseplants, a bright spot with indirect daylight is ideal. The further away your indoor garden is from the window, the less light there will be.

The minimalist, open design and the staggered arrangement of the planters have been devised to minimise mutual shading. Nevertheless, the actual amount of light depends on the location, the orientation towards the window and the size of the plants above.

A wide range of compact and trailing houseplants are suitable, such as pothos, philodendron, spider plant, ferns, peperomias and peace lily. In particularly bright spots, various kitchen herbs can also be used.

Yes. The indoor garden can be planted using high-quality potting compost. The growing medium should be loose, structurally stable and suitable for the plant species in question.

Yes. Mineral-based growing media such as Seramis, expanded clay or similar planting granules can also be used. Watering must be adapted to the specific growing medium and plant species.

The water is poured into the lower part of the planter. From there, it can reach the growing medium via the plant roots or a wick. This means the soil is less likely to become compacted from above.

The system allows for a more controlled water supply and, when used correctly, reduces the risk of waterlogging. However, you should not consistently add more water than the plants can absorb. The water level should be checked regularly.

This depends on the type of plant, its location, room temperature, the time of year and the growing medium. In summer or in heated rooms, water requirements can be significantly higher than during the darker winter months.

Yes. The planters can be removed individually for planting, maintenance or cleaning.

Yes. As no wall mounting is required, the indoor garden can generally be moved to a different location. Furniture castors are useful on softwood floors such as spruce or pine. Before moving it, heavy planters should be removed if necessary, and any standing water should be checked.

The foldable base structure is designed for quick and easy assembly. The exact assembly instructions and contents of the delivery depend on the version selected.

Yes. If necessary, the surface can be refreshed using a suitable care product. The oil used should be compatible with the existing hard wax oil finish.

Yes. Thanks to its freestanding design, high-quality wooden finish and compact vertical greenery, this indoor garden is ideal for offices, meeting rooms, reception areas and medical practices.

In principle, it can be used in well-ventilated bathrooms. However, persistently high levels of humidity, splashes of water and inadequate ventilation can damage wooden surfaces. For extreme environmental conditions, we recommend the raised bed made of aluminium.

Yes. In low-light locations, a suitable plant grow light can be used. It should be positioned so that all levels of the plants are illuminated as evenly as possible.
