The BIKEBLOCK 2.0 is the original, streamlined version of our BIKEBLOCK range. Designed for lightweight bikes weighing up to 14 kg, it combines stability with a minimal footprint and a design that deliberately differs from the classic bike stand.

The rear wheel is simply slid into the BIKEBLOCK. A specially designed internal structure holds the tyre in place and aligns the bicycle vertically. The mechanism works regardless of frame shape or mudguards.

No bracket. No metal frame. No visible mechanism.

It couldn’t be easier to use: simply set up the BIKEBLOCK, slide the rear wheel in, and your bike is secured. For lightweight, well-balanced bikes such as road bikes or gravel bikes, no further securing is necessary. Should the front wheel tend to turn inwards due to the bike’s geometry, handlebars or weight distribution, the front wheel strap supplied keeps the handlebars and front wheel reliably in a straight position.

The production of a BIKEBLOCK begins with a specially developed concrete mix. Over many years, we have continuously refined the material, the manufacturing process and the surface quality – through countless trials, setbacks and our commitment to achieving an exceptional exposed concrete finish on all five sides.

The concrete is poured using a specially developed process that requires a great deal of experience and a delicate touch. This is the only way to achieve the exceptionally dense and uniform exposed concrete surface that characterises the BIKEBLOCK.

Unlike many concrete products, the smooth exposed concrete texture is not limited to the top surface. The exposed sides all round also impress with a uniform, smooth surface with barely visible air pockets or sedimentation. The result is a concrete structure that looks high-quality from every angle.

Once removed from the mould, each BIKEBLOCK is sanded by hand. The surface is then given a special finish which compacts and hardens the concrete. This results in a particularly durable, smooth texture. The surface does not chalk, is easy to maintain and retains its attractive appearance over time.

Shipping 18 kg of concrete around the world isn’t something you can just do on a whim. We’ve spent years developing and optimising the packaging too. It provides reliable protection for the BIKEBLOCK and ensures safe delivery – both nationally and internationally.

Does the BIKEBLOCK work with mudguards?

Yes. The Bikeblock works as a bike stand regardless of frame geometry and mudguards.

Can the BIKEBLOCK be left outside?

Yes, but: like any concrete used outdoors, the surface will become dirty over time. When used correctly, its strength remains stable for many years.

Does the bracket damage the tyre or wheel rim?

The tyre/rubber on the wheel causes a slight black discolouration on the concrete due to abrasion. (This can be removed with a pot cleaner or sponge.)
With the correct tyre pressure, the wheel rim will never come into contact with the concrete under normal circumstances. Therefore, always drive onto the area with the wheels straight and never with a flat tyre.
