A stylish flower stand with practical flower pots.

Showcase your plants to great effect: the HOCHGARTEN plant stand is a tall, freestanding unit featuring five planters arranged in a circle on elegant wooden poles. Like a permanently green bouquet, it brings houseplants, hanging plants and ornamental plants up to eye level, creating a lively, natural atmosphere in living spaces, offices, medical practices, reception areas or hotels.

In the HOCHGARTEN, a wide variety of plants can be displayed attractively in soil, Seramis or expanded clay. The removable planters are 100% waterproof and available in a high-quality exposed concrete finish in white or grey. The close arrangement of the plants creates a pleasant microclimate that is particularly beneficial for many indoor plants. At the same time, the HOCHGARTEN is space-saving, neat and looks significantly more upmarket than many individual plant pots.

A specially shaped pot base raises the plants by approx. 4 cm. This reduces waterlogging and creates a handy water reservoir – ideal for thirsty houseplants and hassle-free plant care. The inner insert also helps maintain a constant pH level and makes planting particularly easy. Any standard plant pots with a diameter of 13 cm can be used for planting. Additional accessories such as matching inner inserts, 13 cm inner pots and water level indicators make care even easier and ensure that the HOCHGARTEN is also perfectly suited to beginners and those new to gardening.

The sturdy design compensates for slight unevenness in the ground, ensuring that the flower stand remains secure and stable. The planters can be removed individually, making it easy to plant, clean or replace them. You’ll find valuable planting tips and suitable plant recommendations right here at Urbanature – for a HOCHGARTEN that remains beautiful, healthy and impressively green for years to come.

HOCHGARTEN – the flower stand for a home full of life.

Five plants. A small footprint. A big impact.

The HOCHGARTEN plant stand brings your favourite plants up to eye level and transforms them into a living design feature. Instead of scattering individual pots across windowsills, shelves or the floor, the HOCHGARTEN brings together five plants in a harmonious, vertical arrangement.
The combination of high-quality planters, warm oak and well-designed inner inserts makes it ideal for anyone who loves plants but also values aesthetics, tidiness and easy care. Whether in the living room, hallway, office, reception area or conservatory – the HOCHGARTEN creates a green atmosphere without taking up much space.

What makes the HOCHGARTEN special.

The HOCHGARTEN is more than just a traditional flower stand. It is a space-saving solution for modern indoor greenery, a decorative eye-catcher and a practical alternative to hanging baskets. The five planters are raised and positioned close together. This creates a lush display of plants reminiscent of a bouquet. The removable planters make it easier to care for the plants. The special inner inserts promote healthy plant growth, make watering easier and help prevent waterlogging. This ensures that the HOCHGARTEN remains not only attractive but also practical for everyday use.

Which rooms is the HOCHGARTEN suitable for?

The HOCHGARTEN is particularly well suited to rooms that you want to make feel greener, cosier and more lively – without cluttering up windowsills, sideboards or floors, or drilling holes in the ceiling. It is particularly suitable for:

  • Living rooms and dining areas
  • Entrance halls and corridors
  • Home offices and studies
  • Offices, meeting rooms and reception areas
  • Medical practices, law firms, studios and showrooms
  • Hotels, apartments and holiday homes
  • Conservatories and bright interiors

Thanks to its height, the HOCHGARTEN quickly becomes the natural focal point of the room. It is particularly suitable for areas where plants are to be prominently displayed.

Planting tips.

A hanging garden looks its best when the plants have different growth habits. Combine two or three trailing plants with one or two more compact ones. This creates a natural, balanced overall look. Make sure to group plants with similar light and watering requirements together. Tropical green plants are ideal for bright rooms, whilst for semi-shaded spots, ivy, philodendron, spider plant and ferns are particularly suitable.

The inner inserts, combined with our precisely fitting plant pots, make care easier, as the plants can be positioned and watered in a controlled manner. Use a 16 cm water level indicator. It’s better to water sparingly and regularly rather than too much at once. This keeps the roots healthy and ensures the plants thrive.

Frequently asked questions about HOCHGARTEN.

Which plants are suitable for the HOCHGARTEN?

Houseplants with a trailing, climbing or compact habit are particularly well suited to the HOCHGARTEN. Ivy, philodendron, spider plant, candlestick plant, tradescantia, peperomia, syngonium, ferns and fittonia all look lovely. The overall effect is particularly harmonious when hanging plants are combined with bushy green plants.

Is the HOCHGARTEN also suitable for beginners?

Yes, the HOCHGARTEN is ideal for beginners. If you choose low-maintenance plants such as spider plants, spider lilies, philodendrons or peperomias, you’ll end up with a hardy and decorative display that requires very little looking after. When buying plants, always check the recommendations for location and watering.

How many plants will fit in the HOCHGARTEN?

The HOCHGARTEN has space for five plants. This creates a lush, green look without the need to scatter lots of individual pots around the room.

What size pot fits inside the planters?

Plants in medium-sized pots – i.e. with a diameter of no more than 13 cm – are best suited. Compact houseplants, hanging plants and young plants are ideal, as they fit well into the individual planters. You can use various growing media. The easiest to care for are hydroponic plants grown on expanded clay or in Seramis. Start with small plants.

Can the planters be removed individually?

Yes, the planters can be removed individually. This makes it much easier to plant, water, clean and replace individual plants.

How should I plant the ROOF GARDEN?

A combination of hanging and compact plants looks particularly attractive. Hanging plants such as pothos, spider plant or spider lily can grow downwards, whilst bushy plants such as peperomia, syngonium or fittonia add a sense of fullness.

Which combination of plants is particularly low-maintenance?

An easy-to-care-for combination might include, for example, spider plant, spider lily, Philodendron scandens, peperomia and spiderwort. These plants are hardy, decorative and tolerant of minor care mistakes.

Which plants are best for creating a particularly lush look?

Monstera adansonii, indoor ivy, syngonium, ferns, peperomia and philodendron are ideal for creating a dense, lush overall look. The variety of leaf shapes creates a natural, lively effect.

Which plants add a special touch?

Plants with striking leaf patterns or flowers, such as Fittonia, Calathea, flamingo flower, begonia or variegated dwarf pepper, add a special touch. They bring colour, texture and variety to the planting scheme.

What is the ideal location for the HOCHGARTEN?

A bright to partially shaded spot, away from direct midday sun, is ideal. Many houseplants thrive in bright, indirect light. Sensitive plants placed directly by a south-facing window should be protected from strong sunlight. Use sheer, thin curtains to diffuse the sunlight.

Can the HOCHGARTEN be placed in the shade?

A very dark spot is not ideal for most houseplants. For semi-shaded areas, hardy plants such as pothos, philodendron, spider plant, ferns or syngonium are more suitable than plants that require a lot of light.

How often do I need to water the plants in the HOCHGARTEN?

This depends on the type of plant, room temperature, light and the time of year. As a general rule, you should water sparingly. With many houseplants, the soil can be allowed to dry out slightly before watering again. Waterlogging is prevented by the special shape of the pot. We recommend hydroponic planting, a water level indicator and a wick. These are available here under ‘Accessories’.

Is the HOCHGARTEN suitable for pets?

Many popular houseplants can be harmful or poisonous to pets. Anyone with cats, dogs or other pets should make a point of choosing pet-friendly plants and find out about the specific plant species before buying. Pets should never ‘climb’ onto the Hochgarten plant stand.

Is the HOCHGARTEN suitable for outdoor use?

The HOCHGARTEN with oak poles is primarily intended for indoor use and sheltered outdoor areas. For outdoor areas that are constantly damp and very sunny, only suitable materials and plants should be used. For such conditions, we recommend the weather-resistant stainless steel plant stand.
