The URBAN DESK was designed for living spaces where a fully-fledged workspace is needed but no separate study is available. Rather than taking up a lot of space all the time, the desk adapts to your daily routine. When closed, the movable worktop is 42 cm deep. To work, it is pulled forwards, increasing its depth to 66 cm. This provides ample space for a keyboard, mouse, documents and other work equipment. Once the work is done, the worktop is simply pushed back in. The workspace immediately looks sleeker and tidier.

Whilst the worktop moves, the raised superstructure remains firmly in place. Monitors, lights or small work tools do not need to be removed when opening and closing the desk. How does the extendable worktop work?

The worktop is pulled forwards evenly. It moves in sync and remains completely level throughout. There is no need to tilt it up, lower it or provide additional support.

How deep is the worktop?

When pushed in, the depth of the pull-out worktop is approx. 42 cm. It can be pulled out to a depth of approx. 66 cm for use.

Does the monitor need to be removed before moving out?

No. The monitor is mounted on the fixed frame, which does not move when the worktop is pulled out. The monitor, lamp and accessories can therefore remain in place.

Is the stand suitable for large monitors?

Yes. The stand is designed to be stable and resistant to bending, and is also suitable for larger monitors. The screen should be positioned as centrally as possible and ensure it is stable.

Does the tabletop sag when it is extended?
