Waterproof Flower Pot with Water Reservoir
The SPICEPOT is suitable for all plants with a pot diameter of up to 13 cm. With a 7 mm thin pot wall, the planter is waterproof, thanks to the high concrete density. The 200 ml water reservoir makes this flower pot special and is ideal for those who appreciate the tactile feel of concrete.
Plants don’t like sitting in water, but they do need regular watering—not too much, and not too little. This idea for the flower pot was born from this very problem. How often does it happen that the soil in the flower pot hardly absorbs any water, and it just runs through the pot? Our planter lifts the plant by 3 cm, so it doesn’t sit in water. Over time, so-called water roots develop, which absorb the watering water beneath. A traditional pot saucer is not needed with the SPICEPOT, as the planter is self-contained.

With the development of the SPICEPOT flower pot with a water reservoir, URBANATURE is making another contribution to the urban gardening movement. For increasingly hotter summers and moderate watering—without the classic pot edges on the windowsill. The SPICEPOT is produced by our concrete specialists, just 50 meters from us, and then further processed in-house. The concrete is made waterproof with a special sealant. The flower pots are hand-sanded. A recycled fiber material is water-resistantly bonded to the bottom of the pot to prevent scratches or pot edges.
Our intension is to manufacture the concrete planter without air bubbles, meaning without voids (lunkers). We also offer the SPICEPOT with a water reservoir at a reduced price as B-grade merchandise.
