The BIKEBLOCK by urbanature is more than just a conventional concrete bike stand. It combines minimalist design, exceptional stability, and a practical attachment point for a bike lock in one compact solution. The BIKEBLOCK is suitable for bicycles with tire widths ranging from 20 to 50 mm.

To use it, simply roll the rear wheel into the solid concrete block. The specially developed waffle-textured interior ensures that the wheel is held securely in place. The BIKEBLOCK secures the rear wheel regardless of the bike’s frame geometry and is also suitable for bicycles with mudguards. This allows the bike to be parked safely, quickly, and easily—without the need for wall mounting.

BWith the BIKEBLOCK 2.0, an included strap prevents the front wheel from turning unintentionally, keeping it in a straight position.

Alternatively, the BIKEBLOCK 3.0 is available with an additional front-wheel holder. A small aluminium disc placed on the ground eliminates the need for the strap. The disc is weather-resistant, abrasion-resistant and black-anodised. Two adjustable jaws can be individually adapted to the respective tyre width. A rubber ring on the underside ensures a secure grip on solid surfaces.

With a dead weight of approximately 18 kg, the BIKEBLOCK provides additional security. An integrated lock attachment in the concrete allows U-locks or cable locks with a diameter of up to 32 mm to be connected directly to the rear wheel and the BIKEBLOCK. This provides practical theft protection, particularly in locations where no permanently installed bicycle stands or railings are available. Bicycle trailers and cargo bikes can also be secured in this way.

FFor particularly design-focused environments, the BIKEBLOCK is also available in elegant black. Its robust, abrasion-resistant two-component coating reliably protects the surface against weather, impacts and wear. Even rubber marks caused by everyday use remain largely invisible on the black surface. This allows the bicycle stand to retain its high-quality, clean appearance over time.

The BIKEBLOCK is suitable for living rooms, balconies, terraces, entrance areas, courtyards, offices, hotels, holiday accommodation, restaurants, retail spaces and displays at bicycle trade shows. As no permanent floor mounting is required, it can be positioned flexibly and relocated whenever necessary.

The production of a BIKEBLOCK begins with a specially developed concrete mix. Over many years, we have continuously refined the material, the manufacturing process and the surface quality – through countless trials, setbacks and our commitment to achieving an exceptional exposed concrete finish on all five sides.

The concrete is poured using a specially developed process that requires a great deal of experience and a delicate touch. This is the only way to achieve the exceptionally dense and uniform exposed concrete surface that characterises the BIKEBLOCK.

Unlike many concrete products, the smooth exposed concrete texture is not limited to the top surface. The exposed sides all round also impress with a uniform, smooth surface with barely visible air pockets or sedimentation. The result is a concrete structure that looks high-quality from every angle.

Once removed from the mould, each BIKEBLOCK is sanded by hand. The surface is then given a special finish which compacts and hardens the concrete. This results in a particularly durable, smooth texture. The surface does not chalk, is easy to maintain and retains its attractive appearance over time.

Shipping 18 kg of concrete around the world isn’t something you can just do on a whim. We’ve spent years developing and optimising the packaging too. It provides reliable protection for the BIKEBLOCK and ensures safe delivery – both nationally and internationally.
